Shimano fishing reels is one of the most popular kinds of fishing reels being sold today. Very simply, many fishermen are using Shimano to help them achieve their fishing goals coming you can certainly be the next.

No matter what fishing reel parts you need, you can be sure that Shimano offers it. However, this doesn't answer the question: how do they compare to Penn Fishing Reels and some of their other more notable competitors? Here are some tips to help you to find out whether or not it is the right company for you.

First of all, the Shimano is one of the most famous names in fishing, and is a very popular company around the world. The company was originally founded in Japan in the 1920s, and specializes in producing bearings and gearing for fishing.

To find their products, you can use several different avenues to go about it. First of all, you can head down to the companies' fishing department in your favorite sporting goods store, or go on the Internet. No matter which one you decide to do, be sure you know what you're looking for before you go and purchase something. If you want a purchase Shimano fishing reels for a cheaper price and save a lot of money, then going to their website is definitely the best way.

Also, going to other discount websites and finding used or discounted products is another great step. Very simply, there are many other websites on the Internet that sell these reels for cheaper than you can find on their official website, so it checking these out is definitely a good option. Of course, as with anything, you can find great Shimano products on eBay; you can save a lot of money with this method as well.

If you want the latest company fishing equipment, the Curado 200 series is practically a legend in the fishing industry, as it is one that just keeps working year after year. This is one of the best reels that money can purchase, as it comes able to list in an incredible 12 pounds of pressure.

It would be very hard for the average fisherman to distinguish the new Corrado 200 from the old-style, so here are the new features that the newest version offers, see you can decide whether not to invest in the newest version.

First of all, it offers a super free casting, high-efficiency gearing, variety braking system, click on right wheel, recessed reel foot, and many other options. No matter what you're looking for in reels, the Shimano Curado 200 series offers it for you.

Keep in mind that this reel contains very thin walls, and therefore is very light. This makes it ideal to catch up lighter fish, but not so great for bigger fish.

Of course, the newest model has some drawbacks as well. First of all, the price is obviously much more expensive than the older model, and therefore many anglers have turned to cheaper models for their fishing needs. This is akin to a Nike or Titleist Inc. all; very simply, Shimano has a big name, but other companies offer almost the same quality products and often times for much cheaper prices.

Also, the other drawback that some people might not like is the added weight of the newest model. Quite simply, this makes it too heavy for some fishermen to handle properly, and you certainly need to be very strong utilize it. Of course, with the high-efficiency gearing, it certainly makes it more powerful than most lighter reels, so you can take on bigger fish if you do want to go this route.

However, if these drawbacks don't scare you off, then investing in the companies' products is probably a great option for you, assuming you are an avid fisherman and are willing to spend the money. Remember, these reels are very high quality, so you will not have to worry about fishing reel repair or anything else when owning it. The bottom line is, no matter what kind of fish you decide to go after, or however avid a fisherman you might be, the Shimano fishing reels are certainly the best option for you to help you to catch as many fish as possible.

Bass Tracker Boats, Bass Tracker Boat on sale at low discount prices.

I purchased a Bass Tracker II boat about two years ago and I do like my boat. The boat cost $2500; it came equipped with a 35 HP Mercury, an electric start, a console foot controlled trolling motor, and one depth finder. It is extremely light making it easy to haul and to maneuver on and off the trailer.

Now after a couple of years, and this being my first fishing boat, I started looking at purchasing another boat. The feature I was most interested in was more storage, and the newer models seem to fit the bill as they are generally wider now then previous models. The newer boats also have more open space for walking and fishing making it easy to move around to cast. But why spend upwards of $9000 for a different boat when I could upgrade my current tracker. I know a lot of people would say that's not that much money but I am frugal; okay, some may say cheap.

I did shop around and looked at other fishing boats; I found some nice bass boats, but I also found boats that needed plenty of work. The bottom line is that I did not find exactly what I was looking for; the wider boats always had more HP and I am satisfied with the 35 HP motor I have. The speed is more then ample for the lakes I fish and I get good fuel mileage. That's an important question to ask yourself when considering all the options; "what do I need for the type of fishing I do and the lakes I fish?"

As you may have guessed, I decided to keep and upgrade my bass tracker. My first goal was to create more storage; the back of my boat had a swivel seat, two batteries and a gas tank on the floor which means the person fishing at the back of the boat had to fumble around all this boat gear. My first upgrade was to raise the back floor of the boat to the same level as the front. I found that a plastic pallet fit my needs for water proof flooring perfectly and added this to the back of the boat. I then attached hinges to gain access to my batteries and gas tank. One reason the pallet worked so well is that it contains small triangle holes that prevent battery or gas fumes from building up. Next I moved and bolted the swivel seat on to my "new floor". I was very pleased how this turned out both in function and in looks. I accomplished my task of more storage. Now my gas tank and three batteries are stored under the new floor with room for other fishing gear, minnow bucket, anchor, extra tackle box and so on. I still was looking to improve my space usage and I did not have a good place to put the three or four rods I use, so I mounted some simple vertical rod holders constructed from PVC to the front of my console. Still, I was not done with storage. I wanted a good location to store my life jackets and dip net. To solve this issue I added a 4 foot wide by 1foot high piece of netting on a small area opposite of the console unused space to store these items. This also allowed for quick retrieval of the jackets and net when needed.

Now that my storage issues were improved, I moved on to some other projects I had in mind. I added a GPS depth finder (used PVC conduit fittings for custom swivel base), upgraded my 28# trolling motor to a 55# trolling motor and purchased 6 ply trailer tires. These items I consider mandatory upgrades to improve the my ability to find fish and control the boat on a windy day and last tires, to insure no issues on traveling to our favorite fishing spots. But I did install some nice to have items such as a 3 bank on board battery charger; plug it in and charge all three batteries at once. Also, a battery switch was installed giving me the option to select which trolling battery to use straight from my console. To finish things off I added a couple nice to have plastic tool holders in front and one at the back of the boat; inexpensive and yet very handy.

My total upgrade costs for the floor, trolling motor, storage net, on board battery charger, battery switch, tool holders, tires, GPS depth finder and new swivel seats came to around $825. And being cheap, I mean frugal, I shopped around for the best prices I could find and waited for some items to be on sale. By the way, I did not do this all at once; I worked on the upgrades over a 6 month period. Yes I could have purchased a newer boat, but by implementing these upgrades, I ended up having a boat that has everything I wanted and a lot of new equipment without breaking the bank.

All I can say each case is different, it can be a lot of fun to upgrade your boat and you will know exactly what condition your equipment is in. But if you need a larger or smaller boat to meet your fishing needs start looking around for those good deals.

Is a short axel, fits between pontoons, pontoon boat trailer safe

Great trailer and doesn't take up near as much space as the Bass Tracker trailer. I traded my 1994 24' bass Tracker trailer where the boat sits on top of the carpeted bunks for one where the bottom of the hull rests on the trailer.

Any bass fisherperson that doesn't have an extra twenty grand lying around to spend on a traditional bass boat may want to consider a personal bass boat for their bass fishing needs. These versatile boats are amazingly convenient and offer bass anglers the ability to fish small lakes and ponds that might otherwise go un-fished. The most popular personal bass boats are inflatable and come in the form of pontoon boats.

These inflatable pontoon boats are made for one to three people and come in two varieties. Both styles have seats to sit on so they are quite comfortable. There are two inflatable pontoons and the seat or seats sit between the pontoons. These boats are powered with oars and are very maneuverable. Personal bass boats give you access to after that isn't accessible by any other means.

The first type of inflatable pontoon boat used as for personal bass boats has the angler's feet hanging in the water. These are the less expensive of the two varieties and are preferred by fly fishermen. The second variety has of inflatable pontoon boat has two inflatable pontoons with a platform connecting them. The seats then sit on the platform. With this variety of personal bass boat the angler is above the water and never gets wet.

The second variety, with the platform, is the better of the two personal boats for bass fishing. This variety is much more conducive for bass fishing than the other variety which as I said is more conducive to fly fishing for bass. These types of boats are very popular among RV enthusiast and anglers who travel a lot.

In any case personal bass boats are truly a viable alternative to high prices traditional bass boats. The maneuverability, convenience, and accessibility that personal bass boats provide is truly amazing. There is no better way to fish small lakes, ponds, and even rivers. These boats truly solve a problem that has been plaguing bass fishermen for many years.

Since these boats are so compact and stable, they have been found to be used in more than bass fishing. Bass Hunter fishing boats have been found to be used for photography as well as for Scuba platforms, as well as fishing for bonefish.

There were new Ranger bass boats that will easily set you back $70,000.

Cheap Old Bass Boats And Where To Find Them

Bass Boat Buying Blues!

Bass Boat Buying Blues!
By Bob Alexander

Unless fishing is your way of making a living, it's supposed to be fun. It's always enjoyable for me because I don't fish for bass, at least not on purpose! Bass fishing is a lot like work and by nature I'm a lazy man, who has never had the slightest interest in past times that require more than a minimum amount of effort. Besides, it can be an expensive hobby if you're going to be a serious bass fisherman.

Assuming that you do want to invest a small fortune in bass fishing, whether it's for small mouth or large mouth bass, your first priority is to buy a real genuine bass boat. Just any old boat won't do. You can't troll around the lake in an old boat with a minnow and hook, if you're going to be considered a real bass fisherman. You have to have a great looking boat that looks like it's going 60 miles an hour when it's still tied up to the dock!

Buying a new boat is always a very traumatic experience, especially if you take your wife along on your boat shopping expeditions. No matter what brand of bass boat catches your eye, it's an easy guess that she won't recognize the importance of such an investment, once she recovers from the sticker shock of new water crafts.

Marriages have been known to disintegrate almost over night when the spouse accompanies her husband on a boat purchasing venture. Most wives are simply unable to wrap their minds around the idea that their husbands could joyfully spend the equivalent of a year's salary on a bass boat! She immediately thinks of things she considers more important things on which to spend that money, like a new car, room additions and college for the kids!

In addition, wives have this notion that if you're on the lake all weekend fishing, you're not thinking of her all alone at home. For the most part she's right! It's very difficult to think of anything except that huge fish you're going to mount on the wall of your den. That's why you've spent thousands of dollars on a bass boat!

Some marriages though, are actually made in heaven! When both partners in this perfect union like to fish more than staying at home and cutting the grass on the weekend, then buying a boat is a no-brainer. The only question is how big a boat and how many amenities can they stuff into craft without it sinking!

No, purchasing a boat and motor is not an easy job, even when both spouses are in one accord about fishing. The cost of a new bass boat today is astonishing! Usually the wife is the conservative one in the boat purchasing negotiations, sometimes leaving the husband, feeling that he made a huge mistake in allowing her to share in his big adventure!

For instance, wives rarely see the necessity for having a different propeller than the one that came standard with the boat. They don't know that you have to buy a new one that fits your own individual specifications. I don't believe anyone really knows why you do this, but I've never bought a boat that worked well with the prop that came with the boat.

For three or four hundred dollars more, you can get a different one. The prop dealer won't take your old one in on trade most of the time, so you're stuck with one hanging from a nail in the garage.

There are other small expenditures. We're talking fish finders, state of the art sonar systems, global positioning units, short wave radios, anchors, rod holders and extra cushioned seats on the fishing craft of your choice. All in all, most new bass boats today cost more than my first house.

All these trials and tribulations are just a small part of being a bass fisherman. This is just the beginning. The boat is not even in the water yet!

Used Bass Fishing Boats - Things to Consider When Buying a Used

The reason to buy a used bass fishing boat is just the price tag. Unless you don’t care about money a used bass fishing boat will give you the exact same options as a new one. Try to find one that’s not too old and a boat looses a lot of ... On the outside of the used bass fishing boat you should just make sure there are no visible damages on the body of the boat.

Let Bass Boats Enhance Your Fishing Expedition

Next in considering purchasing bass boats are whether you want to buy a new one or a used one, but that’s a personal decision everyone must make for himself or herself. There’s more to fishing than just taking that old dingy out into the water.

Fishing On a Boat - Boat Fishing Tips and Tricks

Take fishing to another level - in a boat. But what kind of boat and where to fish? That is the question! Find out about the various ways you and your family can enjoy boat fishing.

  Boat Fishing

If you're keen to find a fun family activity, then give boat fishing a try. There's nothing better than heading off on your boat with the wife and kids, talking about the fish you plan to catch that day.

It's important to realize, though, that there are lots of different types of boat fishing, and each one has specialized boat requirements. You can do everything from dangle some bait on a string over the side of a canoe, right through to high-tech rods and a powerful cabin cruiser. It just needs to be seaworthy - the rest is up to you! But if you're keen to buy a boat, you need to do some homework first. It can be very confusing walking into a boat show or dealership and seeing so many choices. You need to think about what you're planning to do with the boat before you can decide which one to buy. Here are some popular boat fishing choices.

Fresh Water

If you enjoy fishing in freshwater lakes, rivers or streams, then you don't need a massive boat. Instead, choose an aluminum or fiberglass boat. Make sure it's easy to transport and lightweight. Popular choices include bow riders, runabouts or walley boats, with either a small or dual console. These boats are fine for family freshwater boat fishing outings.

Offshore Saltwater Boats

Fishing out on the open sea is the most common thing people think of when you mention boat fishing. Most people enjoy fishing offshore because they get the chance to catch huge fish and use heavy tackle. It's important to have a dependable, heavy boat for this type of fishing. You'll encounter plenty of different weather and situations on the open sea, so you need to be able to rely on your boat. You can choose twin or single outboard motors, and you definitely need a cuddy cabin or a center console. If you want to spend a bit more, you can start to look at the more luxurious boats, including a bluewater or convertible with luxury quarters, and maybe even an elegant living area. Bigger boats generally have powerful inboard diesel engines as standard.

Inshore Saltwater Boats

If your tastes run to tarpin, snook, trout, bonefish or redfish, then you will want a boat suitable for inshore saltwater fishing. It's best to have a light boat that is smaller than a 25-footer. All you need is a single outboard motor. You're likely to be in shallow water at least some of the time, so something like a flat or baby boat works well. These have a spacious deck you can use for casting, and are still float well in shallow water.

Bass Boats

This type of boat is generally suitable for tournament and sport fishing. They're colorful, fast, and ride low in the water. It's preferable if the bass boat has a trolling motor mounted on the bow. Generally they have a platform at both the bow and stern ends, which makes casting much easier. You can choose from aluminum or fiberglass.

Float Tubes

These don't really qualify as boats, but fly anglers find them very handy for fishing in mountain streams, ponds and lakes. A float tube is simply a flotation device containing a seat. The angler is partially submerged when seated in the float tube, and uses fins on his feet to navigate around on the water. They're tricky to handle, and fly-casting requires lots of practice. You can choose between round float tubes, which are similar to an inner tube, and pontoon float tubes, which have an air chamber either side of the fisherman. The pontoons are slightly eiasier to maneuver, as their v-shaped design reduces the amount of water resistance.

It's always a good idea to speak to experienced anglers who either have their own boat or use one regularly. They can give you lots of help in deciding which type of boat is right for you. Read magazines, guides, and talk to your local boat charter service.
This article is from the Fishing bass FAQ , by Bass Rogue with numerous contributions by others.

09 Buying a Bass Boat (Fishing bass)

- Bass Rogue

Some boat dealerships operate like car dealerships. The people who work
in these places don't drive the products they sell. Avoid these places,
they only want to sell you something. Look for a dealership where
everyone who works there is a bass boat driver and fishes for the bass.
These people want to sell you something too, but they are also interested
in you joining their crowd. Dealerships like these put on tournaments and
are well-known by the local bass fishing crowd. Look for a dealer who
sells bass boats first and other boats to feed the family. Avoid a dealer
who also sells bass boats, they aren't all that interested in selling
them.

Spend some time at the local bass lakes and talk to the bass boat drivers .
They will point you to the good dealers and give you some good advice.
Ask them how many boats they've own and what their experiences have been.
Most bass boat drivers enjoy talking about their boats. Try to get to
them after they have come in for the day. You can often find the real
boat lovers wiping down their boats in the parking lots.

As far as dealing goes, that's pretty much up to you. Most people in this
country are willing to pay what they are told to pay. If you are going to
spend $10,000 to $30,000 for a boat, have something to say. That's a lot
of money and a lot of hours at work. When I buy something big like a boat
or a car, I do it in one day - I don't have a lot of time. I tell the
dealer that I'm buying today, and if they are nice and polite, they'll
make the sale. I also tell them I'm the world's nicest guy, but I have
little patience with game playing. It also doesn't bother me to tell off
a dealer. Don't act like a kid in a candy store, be all business and be a
hard-sell. Make the dealer do the work. Generally speaking, I'm quite
reserved and make the dealer do all the work.

Look for package deals, where the dealer orders a bunch of boats
configured the same way and then offers them at a savings. When you add
upgrades and accessories, only pay cost. Get the dealer to throw in
something to close the deal. A custom cover is a good throw-in ($300 -
$400).

Late spring through early fall is the selling season for boat dealers. A
lot of people spend the whole summer talking themselves into buying a boat
and just before summer dies off for the year, they buy a boat . Wait until
the holidays set in, and the bass go deep and sit there until next spring.
When the bass aren't biting, the bass boat dealers will be willing to work
a little harder to make a sale to pay some bills.

You might also be interested in getting a boat that is a year old. Some
bass boat drivers start off with a 17 or 18 footer with a 125 to 150 hp
motor and then within a year move up to a 19 to 22 footer with a 200 - 225
hp motor. The smaller boats are often taken in on consignment where the
dealer has to sell them before they can sell the bigger boat. I had my
dealer sell my old boat before I would close on my new one. He sold it in
two weeks, and I got a little less than what I wanted. You can get 30% to
40% off on the original price buying a year-old boat. Generally speaking,
it only takes a weekend to make a year-old boat look like a brand new one.
If you go this way, be sure to check on the remaining warranty times,
especially on the motor.

These puppies go pretty fast. And the professional bass fishermen are in a hurry because if they aren't casting they are missing a chance to catch the fish that will win them 200 thousand dollars.

Another idea may be to get your own bass boat. However, while this seems like a good idea you should carefully consider all aspects of buying a bass fishing boat before you pay out the money.

There are key questions that an angler looking into buying a bass boat needs to ask themselves. Where are you primarily going to be doing your fishing? What is the size of the body of water? Will it be small lakes and rivers?

Bass Boat Dealers & Used Boat Prices

Finding A New Boat Dealer For Your Purchase

If you're in the market for a new boat, you may be concerned about finding the right new boat dealer. If you live near the water, there are probably dozens of boat dealers around, but you may still be unsure as to which one is best for you. Here are some things to consider when choosing your new boat dealer.

Finding the Perfect Boat Dealer

It's important that you purchase your boat from a reputable dealer. Since your boat dealer will be someone you rely on to explain the details of the boat you're purchasing and is also likely to be someone you visit again and again for service, it's important that they be someone you can trust. A boat is a big investment, so you want to be sure that you purchase it from the right boat dealer. Here are some questions you should ask of any potential boat dealer before you buy.

How long have you been in business? Many boat businesses fail, and it's important that you minimize your risk of buying a boat from a boat dealer that will be out of business in a year. Buying from a dealer who has been in business for several years helps ensure that he'll still be there when you need him for service or repairs.

The kind of boat you want - Not all boat dealers carry all types of boats. For example, if you want a simple jon boat, you likely won't purchase it from the same new boat dealer where you'd purchase a bass boat . Know the type of boat you're planning to purchase and then narrow down your dealers from there.

The brand of boat- Knowing the brand you plan to purchase, or at least narrowing your choice down to two or three brands will make shopping simpler. If you've narrowed your choice down to two boat brands and you can find one dealer that carries both brands, so much the better. You can likely get a solid opinion from a dealer who has sold both brands and can tell you the feedback he's received from customers on each.

What are your business hours? If your boat dealer will also service and repair your boat, it's important that you know when his service department is open for business. Saturday may be the day of the week that's most convenient for you to take your boat in for service, so you need to be sure that your boat dealer keeps hours that work for you.

How does your service department work? If your boat is under warranty, will you have to pay a deductible for repairs? Is there regular engine service required? What are the charges for basic engine servicing? Are there any repairs that the dealer can't perform?

The Most Reputable New Boat Dealers in Your Area - Ask around if you have friends with boats, to determine the new boat dealers in your area that have a reputation for good prices and service. If your area has websites where local consumers can post reviews of companies they've done business with, take a look at your prospective new boat dealer's reviews here. You can also call the Better Business Bureau in your area to see if you prospective dealer has had any customer complaints registered.

Prices - Prices for new boats can vary widely. Once you've identified the exact brand and model you plan to purchase, pay a visit to each new boat dealer that carries your brand and model and compare prices. You might be surprised at how much money you can save by simply comparing dealers. Look for sales, as well. In many parts of the country, boat prices are marked down considerably in the fall, once the boating season is over for the year. Purchasing your boat at the end of the season, rather than at the beginning can save you a lot of cash.

Is the dealer 'authorized' or 'certified' for the boat you're purchasing? Many boat manufacturers will train and certify mechanics and businesses for performing maintenance and repairs. You want to be certain that your dealer is certified or authorized by the manufacturer of your boat; otherwise your repairs may not be guaranteed under the boat's warranty.

If you ask these questions, as well as asking the pertinent questions regarding the particular boat you're considering, you should be well equipped to make an informed and safe purchasing decision.

Take your time when shopping for your new boat. A boat is a big investment and you want to ensure that the boat you choose will last you for many years, and that the new boat dealer you choose will be someone you can count on whenever a need arises with your boat.

It's also a good idea to get references from friends if you can. If you have friends who are boat owners, find out the name of the boat dealer they purchased from and find out how happy they were with the buying experience. In addition, inquire as to any dealings they've had with the dealer since their purchase, such as for service and repairs. Ask them if they would consider buying from the same dealer again. Finding out the experiences of a dealer's other customers can be very valuable.

Buying a boat is a major investment. You want to get the best price and ensure that you'll have great service after the sale. It really pays to shop around for the best boat, and the best boat dealer.

Dan Allen of Valley Marine is expecting his fishing boat sales to drop by 20 percent. Boats can cost anywhere from $15000-$20000 so this product is a long-term investment and one that he says people have been pulling.

Looking to buy an aluminum bass boat?

Aluminum fishing boats are growing more and more popular these days because of the many advantages they have over those that are made from fiberglass or steel. Aluminum fishing boats are typically more resistant to corrosion, rot and leaks and they are more power-efficient. Aside from that, aluminum fishing boats are also stronger and are easy to fix and repair once they get damaged.

It is true that you need more bucks in purchasing an aluminum boat but it will pay off in the long run with much savings in fuel, repairs and upkeep and maintenance and towing. Aluminum fishing boats are ideal not only for fishing but also for your recreational activities. They can be used if you want to cruise with your family, whether in fresh or salt waters.

Aluminum fishing boats are good for individual fishermen because they are really easy to manage. This type of fishing boat has a high strength-to-weight ratio making it easy to carry by just one person. It is also easy to load on an ordinary vehicle and set into the water when you are ready to use it. Another factor that adds to the aluminum fishing boat's versatility is that it is easy to upgrade. This boat allows you to install some features that you may want.

Also, you can't question the durability of an aluminum fishing boat. They sport a solid construction with metal pieces welded along the boat's seams which prevents water from getting inside and makes joint disconnection less likely to happen. Unlike fiberglass fishing boats that usually shatter, aluminum fishing boats withstand impacts by means of deforming into dents or dings which can simply be hammered out.

An aluminum fishing boat is undoubtedly a good investment. Because it is lighter, it requires a smaller motor that require less fuel to operate. Talking about maintenance, an aluminum fishing boat just needs regular cleaning and not routine maintenance like waxing. With its many advantages, an aluminum fishing boat is truly of great value.

                                                             Fishing Boat Manufacturers

It is good to know that these boat manufacturers sell many different products like all-purpose fishing boats, aluminum fishing boats, bass, bay, canoes, kayaks and drifts, catamarans, multihulls, center console

Some of them are so into this kind of activity that they even searched for all kinds of tips and advices in searching for the best aluminum bass fishing boats. For them, it’s very important to choose a sturdy and strong aluminum boat

                                                             Aluminum vs Fiberglass bass boats

I have been expectant at new bass boats and it seems that the aluminum ones tend to be less expensive than the fiberglass ones. For example, a 16 foot aluminum Bass Tracker with a 50 hp 2-stroke messenger was about $13K.

                                                             Bass Boat

... to worry about....and that was only because the ramp isn't level so the rear suspension flexed and took weight off the right wheel. i saw a z71 spin pulling a 18ft aluminum bass boat out from the same spot

Tips On Buying A Bass Boat

The downside is that aluminum bass boats ride much rougher than fiberglass boats and are easily blown around by even the slightest wind. Again, the size of the body you plan to bass fish on is clearly a tremendously important component

I’ve had a Champion bass boat forever, but today I bought an aluminum G3 boat that was so cheap I couldn’t pass it up. The G3 is aluminum. What are the pros and cons?

The aluminum bass boat is one of the most popular choices of anglers today because it offers many benefits for the owner that you can't get with other boats.

It is kind of a negative if you have ever had a fiberglass rig or some of the other aluminum bass boat models. It is definitely not a speed demon (haven't GPSed it yet, still doing the break-in) my guess is between 10 and 15 mph
